How Long Life Friends Charity's text message program works — what we send, how you opt in, how you stop, and how we protect your privacy.
When you complete our Schedule Free Pickup or Contact Us form, there is a separate, unchecked checkbox beside the phone field. We text you only if you check that box. Your request is submitted whether or not you do, and checking it is never required to buy, donate, or receive help.

We do not send text messages to anyone who contacts us regarding domestic abuse, suicide intervention, or other crisis situations. An unexpected text on a monitored phone can be a safety event. Crisis contacts are excluded from our SMS list entirely.
